Emporio Armani Gets Its Hands On Selena Gomez – Daily Front Row

Selena Gomez is giving us the “Britney feels” in her super sexy new video for “Hands to Myself,” which entered our orbit today. The video, for the track from her acclaimed album “Revival,” was directed by Alek Keshishian and shows the 23-year-old exclusively wearing Emporio Armani from the ready-to-wear and underwear collections. As for the dude co-star, it’s Los Angeles-based Wilhelmina model Christopher Mason (also wearing Emporio Armani, for the parts in which he’s clothed) who resembles a mix of Jason Lewis (Smith!!!) and Chris Hemsworth. Yum.

How has men’s fashion on New Year’s Eve evolved over the years? Mode Studios has an answer, with 100 Years of New Year’s Style. The tome begins with the looks gents wore to ring in the new year in 1915 and every decade since. (Prepare to LOL/cringe/glance away when it comes to 1995.) All the styles are modeled by self-described “fitness aficionado” Matt Watts, whose final look is from the Ryan Seacrest Distinction collection, available at Macy’s. Perhaps we’ve been sucked into watching a commercial for Ryan Seacrest’s clothing line, but you probably wouldn’t notice it if we didn’t tell you. The video comes from the same people who created the viral vids 100 years of Fashion, which have surpassed 276 million views for the first seven episodes. Photo: GivenchyIf you didn’t get the message from the towering illuminated signsat Givenchy‘s last two megaparties, Riccardo Tisci has been thinking a lot about love. He’s also shifted focus from Paris to New York, starting with last Fashion Week’s spectacle of a show in lower Manhattan on 9/11. So of course he turned the house’s new campaign into a “love card” to the city on a New York–size scale.

Carine Roitfeld styled a total of 27 models for the ads, shot by photographers Mert & Marcus. Gemma Ward, Lara Stone, Joan Smalls, Mariacarla Boscono, Natalia Vodianova, Candice Swanepoel, and Miranda Kerr all make up the more seasoned members of the Givenchy gang, and there are some newer faces in the family, too. Watch the video below for an exclusive look behind the scenes with Tisci and the supers, plus some of our favorite up-and-comers like Lineisy Montero, Imaan Hammam, and Issa Lish.
