Fashion media may have faced its challenges this year, from mergers to layoffs to the threat of AI, but that didn’t stop magazines from putting out plenty of unforgettable covers.
In 2025, publishers didn’t shy away from challenging the tense political climate: Elon Musk’s estranged daughter Vivian Wilson posed in Miu Miu for Dazed, while Glamour UK spotlighted nine trans women wearing Conner Ives’ “Protect the Dolls” shirt.
It was also quite a significant year for music’s top pop girls, including Sabrina Carpenter in Vogue Italia and Interview, Doechii in British Vogue and Cosmopolitan, and Chappell Roan in W Magazine and Perfect. Supermodels secured numerous cover placements, too, from seasoned veterans like Kate Moss and Adriana Lima to rising stars like Anok Yai and Alex Consani.
