Arguably Hollywood’s most famous redhead, Lindsay Lohan has officially ditched her strawberry blonde locks for a new look she’s calling “almond milk hair”—an apt name for a color that features cool, nutty undertones. Taking to Instagram to debut her new ‘do, the Parent Trap alum posted an Old Hollywood-style selfie complete with a deep side part, a dark red lip, and voluminous barrel curls.

Lohan isn’t the only celebrity to co-sign the resurgence of golden age glamour, of course. Old Hollywood gowns have dominated the red carpet this awards season (exhibit A: Selena Gomez) and, meanwhile, stars like Sabrina Carpenter are happily paying tribute to the likes of Marilyn Monroe.

For her part, Lohan is in the midst of a personal renaissance that can be attributed, at least in part, to her recent dominance over on Netflix, where she has starred in a number of Christmas-themed films since 2022. Most recently, she wrapped filming for Freakier Friday, the highly-anticipated sequel to the beloved early aughts movie Freaky Friday, in which Lohan stars alongside Jamie Lee Curtis. Both actresses reprised their roles for the forthcoming film, which hits theaters on August 8th.

“That’s a wrap on FREAKIER FRIDAY!” Lohan wrote on Instagram last summer. “Thank you to the amazing Cast, Crew, producers and everyone @disneystudios who put so much love and effort into making this movie! Can’t wait to share it with you all!”
