As skate and vulcanized shoes continue to gain traction in the market, Pharrell Williams and Louis Vuitton are offering up their own take on the model.
Called the LV Tilted sneaker, the French luxury firm’s men’s creative director took inspiration from vintage low-top skate sneakers from the early 2000s to create the silhouette.
According to Vuitton, the suede skate-inspired shoe takes its name from the slightly inclined and embroidered LV initials signature on its tongue. The style also features wide laces and a chunky rubber outsole with a Damier pattern toe cap and Monogram flower details on the outsole.
The new style dropped in tandem with Williams’ spring/summer 2026 men’s pre-collection for Louis Vuitton. The capsule was unveiled late last week with a campaign starring friend of the house Jude Bellingham and house ambassador Callum Turner.
Photographed and filmed by Oliver Hadlee Pearch, the campaign is set in an unmistakably British countryside estate that calls to mind a preppy heritage. The English footballer and London-born actor wear pieces that the company calls “equal parts metropolitan globetrotter and bucolic dandy.”

As for the LV Tilted sneaker, the silhouette follows the release of Williams’ hit Buttersoft sneaker, a retro-flavored design that taps into his long-standing affinity for skate culture.
The Made in Italy LV Buttersoft gets its name from the quality of the leather, the “pillow-y effect” of the design and the rubber sole. It owes a debt to the leather sneakers first adapted into everyday wardrobes in the ‘60s — and the styles popularized by the hip-hop community in the 2000s.
The shoe comes in 24 variations, including one in the house’s brown monogram, and with a host of details. These include a cameo of Williams on the tongue, a hidden and embossed lobster on the back of the shoe and — on certain styles — hand-painted edges near the laces.
Louis Vuitton’s new LV Tilted sneaker, which retails between $1,080 to $1,210, is now available in stores and online.
