Shortly before the musical fun began inside, the annual red carpet affair was its own high-voltage spectacle
Lastnight, the 2026 Grammys celebrated the music world’s best performers and releases of the year. Superstars like Bad Bunny, Lady Gaga, Kendrick Lamar, Doechii, and Sabrina Carpenter were just a few of the nominated artists this evening, while fellow acts like Justin Bieber and Katseye also performed on the main stage.
Shortly before the musical fun began inside, the annual red carpet affair was its own high-voltage spectacle. The best dressed stars of the night were the artists who leaned into the spirit of drama and risk-taking that the Grammys have come to be known for. This red carpet is not known for the tasteful restraint and formality of other awards shows like the Oscars or the Golden Globes. Indeed, the Grammys is a place where fun, theatricality, and an avant-garde attitude reigns supreme.
Standout looks of the night put an emphasis on strong silhouettes, like Addison Rae, who chose a plunging white Alaïa dress (one of designer Pieter Miulier’s last creations for the house). Singers like Sabrina Carpenter opted for classic Old Hollywood glamour in her glittering Valentino, while Lady Gaga leaned more avian avant-garde, in her black feathered Matières Fécales gown.
As for some of the best dressed gents, Bad Bunny debuted as a Schiaparelli boy, wearing one of the label’s first menswear moments in a sleek tuxedo with a laced-up back. Malice, Pusha T, and Pharrell Williams embraced matchy-matchy style in their blush-pink velvet Louis Vuitton suits: Thrice as nice.
