Vogue Culture: If you lived in New York City in the early aughts and were a Momofuku stan, it’s very possible Greta Lee served you a pork bun. Well, lucky you! The actress, who stars in this month’s indie hit Past Lives, waited tables at David Chang’s hot spot for several years as her career was getting going, during which time she says she served many actors with whom she’s worked—and some memorable ones with whom she has not, such as Jude Law. You may now know Lee from punchy roles on Girls and Russian Doll, but in Past Lives, a quiet romantic drama, it is her restraint that makes the biggest impact.

On the topic of esoteric but unpretentious fashion talk, we had our beloved duo José Criales-Unzueta and Laia Garcia-Furtado–the Thelma and Louise of Vogue Runway, as it were—back into the studio to discuss all things resort (spoiler, it rained a lot). We also covered Lupita Nyong’o’s eerily lifelike breastplate at the Tony Awards, the anticipation for Pharrell Williams’s first Louis Vuitton mens’ show next week, and Chioma gushed about test-driving Apple’s new VR goggles. We don’t need the Little Mermaid to tell us it’s a whole new world!
