Made to Measure presents its first original long-form documentary, Battle at Versailles, which follows an event in 1973 at Versailles that pitted France’s greatest designers against the best America had to offer. It was the first time the fashion world’s gaze was fixated on American design.

David Bowie had an indelible effect on music videos as a storytelling method. From “John, I’m Only Dancing” in 1972 to “Lazarus” just last week, Bowie’s experimentation helped make music videos what they are.

Emporio Armani Gets Its Hands On Selena Gomez – Daily Front Row

Selena Gomez is giving us the “Britney feels” in her super sexy new video for “Hands to Myself,” which entered our orbit today. The video, for the track from her acclaimed album “Revival,” was directed by Alek Keshishian and shows the 23-year-old exclusively wearing Emporio Armani from the ready-to-wear and underwear collections. As for the dude co-star, it’s Los Angeles-based Wilhelmina model Christopher Mason (also wearing Emporio Armani, for the parts in which he’s clothed) who resembles a mix of Jason Lewis (Smith!!!) and Chris Hemsworth. Yum.

One World Trade Center Elevator Ride Timelapse: rise of New York skyline from 1500s till now!
One World Trade Center Elevator Ride Timelapse : rise of New York skyline from 1500s till now!
Sky pods show rise of New York skyline from 1500s till now on time-lapse rocket ride to trade center’s top.
An imposingly realistic vision of 2 World Trade Center, the ultimately doomed south tower, will begin appearing next month in a most unlikely place: the five special elevators servicing the observatory atop the new 1 World Trade Center.
From the moment the doors close until they reopen 47 seconds later on the 102nd floor, a seemingly three-dimensional time-lapse panorama will unfold on three walls of the elevator cabs, as if one were witnessing 515 years of history unfolding at the tip of Manhattan Island.

How has men’s fashion on New Year’s Eve evolved over the years? Mode Studios has an answer, with 100 Years of New Year’s Style. The tome begins with the looks gents wore to ring in the new year in 1915 and every decade since. (Prepare to LOL/cringe/glance away when it comes to 1995.) All the styles are modeled by self-described “fitness aficionado” Matt Watts, whose final look is from the Ryan Seacrest Distinction collection, available at Macy’s. Perhaps we’ve been sucked into watching a commercial for Ryan Seacrest’s clothing line, but you probably wouldn’t notice it if we didn’t tell you. The video comes from the same people who created the viral vids 100 years of Fashion, which have surpassed 276 million views for the first seven episodes. For more Matt Watts, check out 100 Years of Swimwear, which hit the www earlier this year.
